if the charts are mimicking each other, it would indicate that next week is a big rally

I'm referring to patterns but not absolute values.
So while the VIX count is higher right now, I'm thinking it might be at a bottom, as it was in the beginning of Nov 98.

I'm expecting the VIX to hit 38 soon so I suspect the next move in the markets will be down, pushing the VIX upwards.
Time frame? Maybe two weeks in duration.
