There's no doubt that every administration since Roosevelt has maintained tight relations with the Saudi royal family... Especially when oil was such a consideration to our economic heath.

But now Bandar has been caught with his hand "in the cookie jar", either as a direct supporter of terrorism, or as someone who has paid off the wrong group of individuals, who ultimately funneled his money to the 9/11 terrorists.

I want to believe he didn't know, and since he's spent so much time in the US, he would understand how dangerous the 9/11 attack would be in riling up the US "sleeping giant"..

But he did know that money he was "asked" to provide was being funneled elsewhere, with no accountability. (I hope no one is assuming that his wife would do such a thing unilaterally)..

This "tribute" they have been paying to the militants in order to avoid becoming targets themselves, backfired on them..

But of course, we cannot rule out the possibility that Bandar is participating in a major intelligence operation of his own, with support of the Saudi family.

Either way, I see his days being numbered with regard to being the SA ambassador to the US.
