My subsequent statements should have made that clear. You didn't understand it. Perhaps you should work on your communication skills. (deja vu) And I should point out that your response proves that you didn't understand what I've said. Is this consistent with your claim that we aren't a democracy? Doesn't the Constitution require or is based on exactly the kind of democracy we have? Aren't they inseparable? We do not have a democracy. A hint can be found in The Pledge of Allegiance "And to the Republic for which it stands". You are starting from a faulty premise. This claim: I have a problem with a society and culture that preaches entitlement and rejects personal responsibility. contradicts this one: This regardless of whether there are absolute laws or whether or not the Constitution allows for possibilities of an amendment that is self nullifying. No, they do not contradict each other. Perhaps if we choose to communicate, we should choose a language that we both understand. I am using Americanized English, if you tell me what language you are trying to communicate with, I'll be happy to jump right in. If you could, please choose one that isn't isolated to just your understanding.
