thanks for checking in, Bro... my thoughts on Dubya's blame

1. for pulling strings in Florida where Jeb helped
whether in Jacksonville voting to push out black votes
or getting State SupCt to push thru the final vote

2. for an extremely weak Economic Advisory staff
Lindsay is a man with 1/3 of Greenspam's brain, but no ability to see much of anything out of the mainstream interventionist and dollar-dominant thinking

3. Trez ONeill is simply inept in all thing political and currency related
his maneuvers in Brazil cost them $10B overnight by mouthing publicly
his insistence to maintain a strong dollar has set up our currency for a bigger fall
the USdollar peak was Jan2002, a full year of appreciation under W's watch

4. trade protection for steel industry was straight out of the Hoover playbook, with similar results
W followed steel with agriculture to Europe and lumber from Canada
the result is that steel is no more plentiful, and more costly
also, Europe is extremely angry with USA

5. Exchange Stabilization Fund (Plunge Protection Team) activity has never been greater in the history of the nation
intervention has reached new levels of manipulation, control, and interference with free markets
what originally was planned as dollar leveling has turned to dollar levitation, stock levitation, and bond flooding
the result is a catastrophic situation in need of resolution where stocks are way too expensive, the dollar is setting up for a Vicious Circle in decline, and the bond bubble has extended from Treasurys to Mortgage Backed Securities
real estate is next on the chopping block

6. attention diverted from Enron and Halliburton investigation and prosecution
usage of Iraq as diversion from domestic fraud charges

7. failure to fire numerous middle to upper level officials within the FBI and CIA
their burokratic methods must be dealt with
security concerns are trumped by turf issues

8. continuation of the federally supported gold pillage from the US Treasury
USGovt is still in bed with JPMorgan and GoldmanSux

yes, Dubya is guilty of watching a man drown
but the guy drowning was loaded with 8 cinder blocks around his ankles, each weighing 45 lbs, with the guy horribly out of shape from chronic preference of blowjobs over physical workouts

I used to like Dubya
but when his Economic Staff policies took root
when his diversion from Halliburton to Iraq took attention away
when his trade tariffs took policy off course
I LOST RESPECT
you love your comic book references, fine
but I tend to think the guy is as mediocre as BJBill was a pervert selling out the nation

Clinton presided over the largest scale theft of middle class wealth in the history of the United States of America
that included pillaging the Gold Treasure, to subsidize TBonds
the beginning trend of lying and deceiving on economic reporting on just about all measures
the complicity with Greenspam for pushing the PRODUCTIVITY lie in explaining the economic miracle that never happened
and generally completing the total gutting of US Economy from a persistent STRONG DOLLAR POLICY

"Bush is not even aware that we have an economy."

LOL

My point exactly. Bush is clueless, so the chances of him doing the right things are slim to none. Reagan, I think, just wanted to be popular and have things get better. Clinton was no idiot, although smoking those imported cigars did make him a little sloppy. He knew what should and shouldn't be done and chose to do whatever would bring him the most gain and perceived pleasure. He truly raped the country and got away with it because he paid off the average, clueless, non-thinking American with a little stock money. Not only is the foundation of the economy weak, at best, but there are some major cracks and leaks on many of the upper floors as well. And we all know the result when a few upper floors of a large highrise fall in on the next.

I remain,

SOROS

P.S. Got gold?
