Looks to me that there are an increasing number of indicators that are signalling a downward move but whether that occurs Monday, Wed or next week is unknown. Put/Call ratio, bull bear contrarian indicator (30% spread), VIX, BpNDX are all saying toppy.

It looks like what has been happening recently (as was noted in a post on this board) the suppy/demand for equities has lost any relationship with reality. Analysts are coming out with buys on CREE at "only" 10 times revenues and only 40 times guesstimate of 2003 earnings. I thought we saw that movie before. I guess someone's brother in law needs to get out.

All the old "authorities" say volume should decline from left shoulder to right, but they cite no statistics backing up this assertion. The only one who has studied it statistically is Bulkowski, and he says simply that volume TENDS to decline from left to right, but it doesn't matter if it doesn't.
