"Of course Intel has enough advertising to make people make mistakes. They correctly show that they don't like what they bought after seeing its real performance, actually its low performance. They do not like being sold a bill of goods. That is why they give bad ratings to it." Ah, yes, the "collective psychosis" theory the Droids favor, along with the "fraudulent accounting" theory. According to the Droids, the masses have been hoodwinked by the marketing power of Intel. This is, according to them, the only reason why Intel has 84% of the CPU market to AMD's sinking 13-14% share. "If only they knew the truth, that a 3400+ Quantispeed Duron actually outperforms a current Pentium 4!" The other theory is that AMD actually has a larger market share, because of its superior wafer fabs and superior process technology and superior management, but Intel is using fraudulent accounting to make its sales figures _seem_ to be many times higher than AMD's. The Church of the Droid, led by the Manitollah of Fudatolla, actually believes these crazy things. I guess it's not much worse than believing in fairy stories from the Bible and Koran. --Tim May
