Bush was cleared in Harken. Cheney has never been charged with anything in the Halliburton investigation. There was nothing there....it was obvious ......and there are more important things to worry about.... JLA

As usual, I see that jla omits that Bush and his attorneys didn't submit all the relevant information until after the SEC closed the investigation. That actually presumes that Bush and his attorneys sent it....the SEC investigators never actually saw it. Though they did say that had they received it they would have re-opened the investigation. But no matter, these are little details where Bush was explicity told by legal counsel not to sell those little bippies knowing the company was in trouble. A sigh of relief from the White House was heard when they realized they controlled both the House and the Senate. No investigations. jttmab
