with bulls and bears so violently opposed at this juncture, we probably go net sideways. Makes for good range trading. Don't see US companies earning real money for a very long time.

J.T however price to sales/ price to book etc were dirt cheap which they are not today. Also Dividend yields were 2-3 times higher. Its easy to pick convienient articles to back up your thesis, but there is no way you can claim that stocks are cheap here. Whille in 70's and 32 they were. I can agree with your move to 2000 on nazdaq but not on your valuation thesis.....sorry.
