I wasn't very clear. What I meant to say was that a H&S pattern is a bearish reversal pattern, which means that the stock tops out and when it goes below the right shoulder it is finished. I got from PVZ's original question the implication that the H&S was complete and now the market could rise (??):

What I was saying is that a H&S finishes and all you have done is reversed and are now headed south--this was the case for SPX in the first week of July. When a reverse H&S finishes, the plunge is (or should be)finished and the stock should be then headed north.

Since PVZ's H&S pattern "finished" a while ago (in very early July 2002), now we are onto other areas and patterns.
