Don, we are about to enter warning's season again so that could have some impact too. Right now the futures show a slightly lower open for tomorrow:

Of course a lot could happen between now and the actual open. Gottfried stated it well in his last BPNDX post when he said it was toppy so it should be obvious that the NASDAQ 100 has become overbought.

I looked over a lot of technical measurements this afternoon trying to determine if we have actually hit a true market top yet. I don't think we can say that just yet. At least I don't see any compelling evidence to suggest we are necessarily done moving higher on a technical basis alone.

So although we could and probably should expect that a pullback could happen here it may only serve as a springboard to future gains.

That being said I am not at all sure we have had anything other than a bear market rally these last two months even if it does head higher again soon.
