Remember - "maintain the integrity of the ganglia!" I spent a lot of time, myself, mutilating these cadavers. My hands became quite facile. I can, now, remove a spinal cord in less than fifteen minutes, with only a chisel! Fuck! Anyone could remove a vertebral column with a fucking saw, but I could pop the motherfucker with just a chisel! And, maintain the integrity of the ganglia! These are the games you play with yourself when you deal with death all day. This is how you distance yourself from all the blood and guts you, literally, bathe in on a daily basis. If you acknowledged the reality of the situation, you’d be spending all day puking in the shitter.
