Yechhhhh!!!

My first surgical exam of a foreign body in rectum case greeted me one day as the first specimen to be examined on the morning surgical schedule. The specimen was in a large bedpan on the dissection table. There was a green surgical towel draped over it. Snickers and giggles from the laboratory technicians, who prepared the specimen to be examined, had to be silenced before I could commence to dictate my examination of the specimen.
