Oral,

Dan niles has upgraded AMD and INTC stating that a forward PE of 35 and forward price to sales of 5.1 for INTC is cheap. Morgan Stanley has upgraded the wireless sector as well. Of course, they would have looked better doing that 7 weeks ago before AWE, PCS, NOK and NXTL were between 1/2 and 1/3 of present levels.

CNBS had an interesting theory that the wireless upgrade could have something to do with the fact that Verizon and Cingular have IPO's in the wings and have been awaiting better valuations and sentiment for pushing forward with their offerings.

I hope that you had a great Thanksgiving.

Brian

Yep, most four letter stocks I'm watching are gonna gap 3-7%.

ARCA seems to be the most active ECN on the bid side this morning
If that means anything to anyone

The candles didn't look good today on most of the charts I examined, but there are decidedly bullish undertones. Today's mfg figures should have whacked the market, but the Naz stood firm. NDX retreated from where it was supposed to retreat, but that is small comfort given the futures.
