You may be surprised. Arkia has two Boeing Jets. One of them doubles as Israeli Air Force One when the PM needs a ride somewhere. If the Arkia plane was Air Force One, I'm sure it did have that kind of equipment built into it.

I also believe that GWB can sleep a little safer knowing that countermeasures work well even immediately after take off.

Fully agreed for life's value... However, it will take so much time to fit all airliners that the idea is not worth consideration unless some really start to fall from the skies.

Furthermore what to do with planes are are close to their life end ?

Finally there are other ways to blow airplanes... ways I'd rather not elaborate on.
