Right, James. Bezos says, "There are several reasons for shopping in the real world. But price is not among them."

That is usually true. On Saturday, however, I picked up a MAG 14" LCD monitor for $150 and a Samsung 15" LCD (150MP)monitor with integrated TV tuner for $399. Shipping was not included, of course, and I had to drive over to a second BBY store to find the 150MP in stock. Took me an extra hour. Also had to pay sales tax on the undiscounted price.

Altogether, I'm not sure that I was well compensated for the time it took to get these bargains, even though I would have had to pay more at Amazon. And this was about as aggressive a sale as you typically ever see at brick and mortar.

So you are right. Amazon is awesome.

So do you own it? If so, what proportion of your liquid assets?
