Interesting......that's your tell, what WMT does? I can think of no better indicator of economic conditions than growth in WMT's sales. Its not a bad indicator but taken alone it says little about the national economy. Part of WMT's recent eco. success is that its stilling share from the Kmarts and Krogers of the world. So that the good times at WMT may not mean all inclusive. Nonetheless, in the past two weeks, the indicators have moved from mostly down to mostly mixed. That has raised some hope that the recovery has started. However, it appears to be a weak one much like the one in the early ninties. That could result in a very slow return to any type of growth. ted
