Legal Beagle, tell me why, if IDCC is so great, it has consistently lost money?

Why is the price as high as it is? I suspect that a lot of people are counting on a win in the Ericsson case to support such a sky-high valuation. In other words, a lot of dummies like you are doing home-spun litigation risk assessment.

The other problem is that TDMA is a legacy technology. It won't be around in a few years. What then? Rely on any WCDMA patents it may have? Don't get me rolling on the floor again.

Nokia is going to make sure that little IDCC with its insignificant WCDMA patent portfolio get its minuscule share of the 5% royalty cap big bad Nokia proposes for WCDMA. You think tiny little IDCC can buck OMA? Or Nokia?

Good luck, Gussie. You're going to need it. This mutt is ready for a big fall.
