the PPT exists or not doesn't matter to those who know of its existence. The final totting up of the brokerage account is the only scorecard that matters.<<<<

Realizing your in the UK and maybe not getting our news, we had some outstanding news sunday night that suggested Friday's shopping was up over 12% YOY in some parts of the country. That Steve was the fuel for the futures, and when the dire economic hindsight was released the markets went the other way, until reason prevailed and the common sense of fresh economic data trumping old data sunk in.

The day after our Thanksgiving is a very meaningful day; the News on sales was exceptional. Is this the news missing from your radar screen? If so please recailibrate your mytth.

I spoke with several retailers myself today, who suggested that things in some areas were way better than they thought they would be.
