Cudawuda - no - IPSU is not late with their filings. The september quarter is their FOURTH quarter. If I remember, they got 90 days to file the 10K but less than that (30 days) to file the 10Q. This is a major firm so this kind of glitches would be untypical for a company of that size.

In past years they used to file the 10K in the second half of December..

hope this helps

re: UAHC (NasdaqNM) @ $1.25

This is an old pick of Joeiniowa (from Three Amigos Thread). company is active in the HMO field and I honestly do think it should be given another look at its current trading level .. $1.25

This is too cheap. The stock tanked from $8 to $1 on a special charge. The company subsequently adressed the problem, even changing its business model to not be bothered with this kind of risk in the future (increased claims w/o reserves). This should take the volatility out of their earnings going forward. EPS for FY2003 of around $0.90 are projected. Good enough for me to get in..

Around 7m shares out. Price/Sales ratios going forward not comparable - it was an insurance based HMO manager inthe past and is a non-insureance HMO manament and consulting firm now...

Company has the potential to generate more than $0.25 EPS per quarter going forward. If they don't disappoint a fair value of at least $5 should apply. Briefing.com likes the HMO field in its ratings. Situation with less underwriting exposures should have less volatile earnings hence more stable cashflows and could commend a higher valuation ultimately. Let's see whether the market realized the transformation of UAHC and whether the company does well in its new setting.
