And????? Most of our servicemen were also farmers and ranchers, or even worse, city slickers.

If the Palestinians played a role in the Arab League, it was a very small one. The major players in the Arab League were the Egyptians and Syrians and Jordanians.

Once again so what? The Palestinians had a small force, but when combined with the forces of their neighbors were outgunned at least 5 -1. Yes the Israelis came from the battlefields of Europe, but the Arabs had a huge numerical advantage. On paper, the Arabs should have won easily.
