I've gone with this philosophy for my whole life: "what's best for all". However, I've observed that it often works against you. For example, if you are hit by another car and don't go to the emergency room for a checkup because you don't feel that you are hurt at the time, the insurance companies will use it against you if you later make a claim based on valid latent injuries. My response to that will be: Go to the emergency room immediately, hurt or not. And I will probably have a complaint to log in with.

I've seen others being abused by the law sometimes. I learned from that: It's better to keep your mouth shut and tell nothing that you don't have to, and to stretch the truth in your own favor.
