Re: The solution seems to be freedom of religion and at the moment the Moslems are the guilty party.

I beg your pardon?! The issue is not about religious freedom... "Freedom" --that catch-all expression Americans like to boast whensoever, even when they mean exactly the opposite. No, the issue is all about ethnic hatred --hatred against Arabs, hatred against non-white peoples. But such a crass avowal wouldn't be politically correct, hence the religious, roundabout tack.

As for a "new form of energy to displace oil"... ROFL! That's indeed the nuttiest Zionist rainbow! I can imagine Zionist and pro-Israel zealots across the world consoling each other about the Oil Curse --the Devil's excrement, as banker Sigmund Warburg put it... LOL! As if the Arabs' clout stemmed entirely from oil. But face it, Carolyn: back in 622, Mahomet didn't finance his Hegira with petrodollars; Constantinople didn't fall in 1453 because Mehmet II used gas-powered tanks; the Crusades didn't fail because of an Arab oil embargo; and, finally, Russia fell behind despite her huge oil reserves (Lukoil is the world's largest oil company in terms of assets and properties).

So, I'm afraid I must rephrase your comment altogether:

We in Eurasia can't get along. The solution seems to be ethnic co-optation (vs segregation) and at the moment the Europeans are the guilty party. I think they conceal their true motives behind the Muslim bogeyman, when in fact it is merely economic. Same old, same old.

Maybe they are scared by the prospect their geopolitical eclipse which is hastened by the rise of China....

Too bad they can't get with the program and realize colonial times passed by long ago. Look to the future, I say.
