oh darren

might i add that the national post is no example of journalistic neutrality. it is a known outlet for pro-israeli and pro-zionist views (as it is owned by the wealthy jewish asper family). the national post has had a lot of criticism from its own editorial staff as the asper holdin coroporation (canwest) has routinely "advised" on editorial content and punished those that didnt comply.

i am not bashing them. just telling you where the national post stands in the spectrum.

More than 200 people are dead, some two dozen churches and thousands of homes have been destroyed, and much of the Christian population of the Nigerian city of Kaduna driven into exile -- all because of a single joke by a Nigerian journalist.

And also many Muslims were killed by the Christians after the violence started.

I think that the Nigerian Muslims could have been much more effective at getting their point across if they had just surrounded the newspaper building, and then sat down. Thereby preventing anyone from entering or leaving, would have made a nice picture for the TV news crews to beam all around the world.
