"shrill antidemocratic hate speech" hmmm... that sounds an awful lot like what I hear from Limbaugh day in and day out. I think Tom Daschle was airing a legitimate gripe about how Limbaugh's bombastic diatribes against liberals have made he and his family feel legitimately threatened by some of his devoted followers. It is the Limbaughs of the world who create an antidemocractic environment where people feel threatened to practice politics the way they want to practice them. Daschle was just pointing out how he was being personally effected by it.
