Well from what I read, it appears to be the favorite count. He has the same count on the $HUI. FWIW, after discussing the triangle on Monday, he concludes: "So we remain short-term bullish gold, but only so long as $310 is not violated."

Again, I am watching the dollar which I can't see going up from here. And if the USD goes down, I am betting that the odds of gold going up becomes very high.

On a fundamental basis, with the Fed making money available at large, I can't see how gold can go much lower than retesting the trend line from the April 2001 lows, now slightly below $300. And I can't figure out how the metal could do as Prechter is suggesting.. i.e. move below $200.
