His discussion can reach closure if he agrees that every difference is and always has been important because it is consequence to some aspect of the universe's existence. In that case, he should have omitted the word "important" from his initial post, and all would have been well. If he continues to argue that there are important and unimportant differences, then agreement is further off, because he will insist on assigning subjectivity to unimportance while denying it to importance, which I can't see as a supportable argument.
