T-rexley- Thanks for the response. The problem is that you are focused on something different from what I was focused on. I am focused on a corrupt legislative process. If the issue was truly that thimerasol is unjustifiably linked to autism, and if republicans truly had faith in the science(which they apparently did not)then why was the rider introduced anonymously. If anyone thought they could make a plausible public case that vaccine manufacturers need some slack related to a biological warfare issue, why was the rider introduced secretly with no one taking responsibility for it? So those two arguments don't wash. Instead, the jury system is circumvented(I suppose because they have no faith in the intelligence of said juries), awards are paid out of tax revenues, and a drug company is free to continue using a product about which questions remain.
