Arik, good analysis;

For shorts and puts I intend to hit the BKX. I also figure GE sort of belongs in that index.

Arik T G,
A well deserved recap of some great TA market calls, keep up the good work.

REVery interesting candlestick pattern in the HUI - we had 7 (seven!) small bodies in a row, and a nice white candle today (so far).
Usualy 3 small bodies in a row and a move the other way is enough for trend change.
Also the futures had a false break yesterday below the 317.5 support but closed above it.
That leaves me with the conclusion that the ST trend in Gold is now UP.

Excellent, I was beginning to think no one else noticed!Seeing the very same pattern reaching for an apex motivated me to add to my gold positions "up to the neck" yesterday.

Unless I am mistaken, (and I could be, as I am only home for lunch) there is no "smoking gun" news to this POG XAU/HUI move besides the evident TA. This is the best confirmation for a large move to me. All the best moves have little or no news reasons for the move the first days of the move, based on observations of the gold mkts the last twelve years.

Consequently, I am now returning to my woodland pursuits
with confidence, no soliloquies today, ggg.

PS, Also a congratulatory slap on the back to nspolar, who thought today would be an "interesting" day for golds!

Best Regards,
Roebear

I basically agree with your analysis, at least that is the why things appear to be going now.

Hi Arik. Thanks again for sharing your work.

Quite a few folks on this thread know the difference between good "buy side" analysis and the "sell side" spin that WS feeds the public. Mosth other threads are clueless.

Independent professional input, is a breath of fresh air to web discourse. Glad there are a few of us who have time to post what are hopefully helpful thoughts, now and then.

Speaking of which, times up for me. I'm outta here for the rest of the day.

Had 21 msgs on and off borad to answer, 4 hours ago. E Gad! Now have 23! Will try to respond to those tomorrow.

Wishing you and your family a happy and safe holiday season.

Best regards,

Isopatch
