I doubt the S&P will sustain more than the long term average 7% over the next several years. In the next year or two I suspect we will see at least a 50% retrace of the gains off the October lows (possibly even a retest of those lows) and dip the chart into the sub 5% area. I expect that somewhere along the line the chart will touch zero because the S&P will not recreate the power move of the 1995-2000 era. I thinks that is kind of a middle of the road view compared to others around here expecting the massive meltup or another meltdown.
