That link to LG's post and his chart are really excellent, exactly how it should be done, imho.

Everybody is going to do TA a little differently because everybody values gains and fears losses a little differently, and the balance between reason and emotion varies with each person, with each season and with each year. If you are having a great year, it might either 1) make you more conservative or 2) make you feel 10 feet tall and bulletproof. Result: different decisions on where to set a stop loss order on a profitable trade.

Feel free to repost that site every 6-7 weeks; it bears repeated rereading, imho.

BTW, the SOX model I've been working on gives a 1/3 position buy today. The RSI(4) of the SOX under 45 in a bull trend is worth the third. Todays TRIN over 2.00 give support. I'm in for a third - looking at the usual suspects here in AH.
