I'll take that as an admission that you can't prove the point.

Liberal journalists like Helen Thomas notwithstanding, at NO TIME did Bush express any intent to go around the UN. He did clearly state our policy, which is that the United States is a sovereign and has every right to defend itself against Iraq WITHOUT the UN's mandate.

When the liberals heard this, they all went off like so many monkees on siting a lion in the territory. Absolute unreasoned panic. You were one of them.

As has come out in Woodward's book, Bush is one of the most reasoned presidents of modern times. He sat and listened to what his advisors had to say, and made a decision based on that input.

Frankly, there are no grounds other than your broad political disagreement for the spreading of lies such as were reported in the piece you posted here.
