You point is true, but it begs the question.

A *false* claim of 'Supernatural' activity may be debunked if it is subject to physical testing... but to - for example - prove a negative (i.e., "there is no God") is an impossibility, as it is a question not amenable to physical testing.

Any religion which relies upon 'faith' to explain it's belief system falls within the boundaries of the Supernatural, and Science can only concern itself with the Natural Universe.
