Only if you want to have a guaranteed supply of seed the next year. The Bt corn, which doesn't offer higher yields but cuts down on root worm damage, LOWERING THE USE OF POISINOUS CHEMICALS, was supposed to kill all the Monarch Butterflies. Even after the big kill in Mexico due to cold we had lots of Monarchs this year.
