We are in a temporal vortex.. Israel will continue with the settlements.. US will not force Israel and Palestinians to come to terms and settle and will continue to support Israel with funds and aids to carry on as they wish.. Palestinians will continue to kill themselves and take as many from Israel as they can.. Opinions in US will be mixed.. Majority siding with Israel.. World opinion will be mixed.. Majority siding with Palestinians.. Discrimination will again rise it's ugly head.. Palestinians will not find much to cheer about where they are.. Folks of Jewish origin will be once again very careful as they travel outside of US or Israel.. Terrorists will couch their rhetoric in religious guise and continue to play havoc.. US will attack Iraq.. which will make it easier for the Al Qaedas of the world to find people who will support them, hide them and help them and in this case religion will not be a factor but a sense of let's-give-them-a-dose-of-what-they-are-giving-us mentality.. Innocent bystanders will continue to suffer all over the map.. World countries will talk about preemptive strike willy nilly and borrow a page from US with sabre rattling but nothing probably will come of it.. Arabs, Indians, middle easterners, any one that look like one, talk like one and carry a passport from one of the countries will be scrutinized with suspicion and that will be a fact of life.. In the meantime, one root cause of the flash point, Israel/Palestine conflict will continue.. Israel will continue with settlements.. and so on.. What a depressing state of affairs.. FWIW..
