ALL the "doctorates" misrepresenting the global warming fraud are the "political" scientific doctorates, or are irrelevant. They are either credentials unrelated to any field that would allow for indication of climate change, or, in many cases, are doctorates granted by other anti-humanity, anti-American pseudo "scholars" in the radical environmental movement who don't, for their part, deserve their OWN cheap doctorates. The doctorate is a very important component of pseudo-scientific fraud. It allows for discussion to be cut off using the credential, EVEN if the "official expert" is telling us to give up life as we know it. THIS IS NOTHING NEW IN THE SCIENCE OF THE POST WWII ERA. There are many MISFITS hiding in academia, taking any shot they can against the West, on virtually any subject, and hiding behind their cheap (or, in some cases, unrelated) doctorates. (Remember Carl Sagan INSISTING to Henry Kissinger that the world was DOOMED if the West did not unilaterally disarm?) Liberals eat it up. Every word from these charlatans, because it is the anti-West crap they wallow in. Then liberals defend the speaker's doctorate passionately, BECAUSE IT ALLOWS THEM TO SHOUT DOWN (Lenin-like) ANY OPPONENT ASKING FOR COMMON SENSE. In many cases, this phenomenon is simply a matter of attitude: "Scientists" who don't like the real world, and enjoy taking a shot at it under cover of phony "expertise". But in MOST cases, it is a scam to snatch contributions or "study grant" $$ from an unsuspecting and rather naive public (i.e., selling snake oil). To this latter scenario I assign the ENTIRE global warming theory-and thus refer to it as the global warming FRAUD. Global warming replaced acid rain, which was debunked a few years ago (a few doddering liberals STILL mumble about acid rain). The artificial causes of global warming are total bunk, and when the left wing media is finally forced to accept that, global warming will be replaced with a NEW doomsday scam. Because, like snake oil sales, it's NOT about the subject matter, IT'S ABOUT THE PLAY-which is sheer fraud...
