It does however single out Moslems and paints the whole branch of Wahhabism as a terrorist cell. What if the Saudis wrote a story about America's Christianity sponsoring overthrowing of governments, meddling in foreign countries elections, assassinations, or mining of harbors and put the mark on Christ's adherents as the culprits, how would you react? The Week Standard is a creepy bunch of "journalists" and "scholars" whose agenda is of a hawkish nature. Since I have not read the book, I can only address what the book reviewer says about Mr. Schwartz's opus and it leaves me wanting to know some of the finer details, since what the author of the article says is topical and simplistic. If the Shi'ites who do not favor Westrn intervention in the Mideast and have scorn for the Saudis, for allowing Western influences to taint the interests of Arabs in general and Islam specifically, how radical can the Wahhabi sect be? bin Laden seems more aligned with the Shi'ites than Wahhabism in my opinion. Lastly, do you believe that the same affair does not take place in America and Europe through fronts operating as non-profits and charitable organizations? Have the followers in Christianity and Judaism gone astray to manipulate other nations to kowtow to its own agenda? len
