The small investor has no imput to this market. Talk of a year-end rally is mere hyp. Looking at last two Christmas seasons from Dec 2 to March shows a practically flat Dow and NAS.
Big funds are paying attention to government reports causing tides to rise and fall in spite of store sales
or individual stocks. They wont sit in bonds forever at low rates. Today I assume they are digesting the latest crummy reports - trying to decide when to get back in equities. They may already be there -investing in company bonds.
I doubt if they are selling much, except to unload some more of the worst techs who are still losing money

never know , the bears will find something but the good old consumer keeps buying and jobs are holding so they have a problem
