It is surprising that we cannot even get Turkey clearly on board to use air bases there that we are willing to spend a fortune to beef up. Of course our stellar diplomatic efforts have nothing to do with it. Nor does the shitty visit that Cheney had when he went in there last year pumping regime change in Iraq.
