Hiroshima? What about Pearl Harbor, the Bataan march, the rape of Nanking, or the beheading of American prisoners? The Japanese were no angels either.

Yes, we ended a war we didn't start with the bomb. Yes, over 200,000 ultimately died at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but it ended the war in a damn quick hurry, probably saving close to a million Japanese lives and another 200,000+ American lives. Had you been one of the soldiers or Marines storming Iwo Jima, getting blown to hell on Okinawa, or shot out of the sky over Tokyo, you'd have welcomed the bomb. An honest analysis of history, IMO, demands that you first try to put yourself in the shoes of those who lived it.
