Dennis, I'm not aware of a "Communist one party rule" in Mexico.

Sorry, I really shouldn't have exaggerated, but until Vicente Fox's recent victory, I am almost certain that the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) had never lost a presidential election in the some 70+ years of existence... some democracy :-(

It's things like this that made me laugh at the worldwide finger pointing at the USA for the Bush/Gore election we endured. Of course, a presidential election that's so close to the wire that the difference was in the roundoff noise is no sign of a "democracy"... for that one needs a political party that wins presidential elections for 70 years running, LOL !!!
