ild, I think short term war risk is diminishing, and gold, the DFX, and the XLE are exhibiting similar behavior to support this. My work shows moneystream below price, which suggests a move in price down to meet the money. IMHO of course, and not withstanding a nasty surprise.

I think the Iraq situation is classic Orwellian. "War is Peace".

By threatening war all the time, Bush can stifle criticism at home, shore up political support, and ram the pro big business agenda through congress. The real terrorists are probably in Saudi Arabia.

One of our people called Bush a moron, but that was a mistake. He deliberately cultivates an air of ineptitude to get people to underestimate him. He's quite bright. It's the level of political discourse in the US that is moronic.
