The big east can't compete with Big Ten/SEC/Big 12 for bowl money. ain't gonna happen, ever.

No question. The Big East is probably not going to be around in 5 years. It's a hodge-podge of a league. Having said that, the commissioner's job is to make the best of the situation. He is doing the opposite. He's trying to "place" Big East teams at bowls where he thinks they should go. And in the process he's going to piss off the bowls.

The Big East, already being a 2nd class league in the eyes of the bowls, is going to end up losing bowl affiliations. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose the Gator and Insight after this year as a result of his shenanigans.

The guy was only a sports information director at Providence, and then followed his boss Dave Gavitt to the Big East front office. When Gavitt left, he became commissioner. How he is qualified to be commissioner I don't know. Time and again, he has shown he has no clue of what he's talking about.

Among his other fantasies include believing that someday ND is going to join the Big East and that it's best for Miami to win the conference championship every year.
