We also use a derivative of Atropine (Atrovent, ipratropium bromide)as a bronchodilator.

One of my ER docs is going to Iraq for a few weeks to give some lectures on emergency medicine. He said that he was in no danger from the Iraqis because he was planning on taking pictures of kids that they wanted seen by the world.

canuck person-

did you know that US wants to add
atropine to the list of drugs that iraqis
are denied as a result of the embargo?
its a life saving drug used to treat
patients with cardiovascular instability
and shock.

that really pisses me off.

who is this "US" person?
i say, "phuck him."

"we have met the enemy,
and he is US."
