s1: I was just up in Southwest Michigan for Thanksgiving and to work on a project -- they had over 18 inches of snow while I was there...;-) I'm now back in Chicago and its a good thing we don't have much snow here BUT its unusually cold for this time of year -- we clearly have to bundle up.

Most of our ski areas are open in the true New England Skiing tradition....cold...some packed powder...and ICE!
