Ineffability or Haberdashery All dressed up and nowhere to go. I don't find Doug confusing, I am confused by what he wants people to believe. He makes a good case for cordiality and ineffability is an admirable quality, what Doug lacks is a certain, je ne sais quois. I good place to find a raison d'etre, or several, is in a fortune cookie, the expensive kind. After several fine meals, you will have a repertoire of motives that you can apply to any situation.
