Loantech: The SKI system is pretty simple conceptually, but Jeff Kern uses a lot of lingo (for the sake of brevity) that makes it sound complex. Basically, he empirically found a relationship between the current price and past prices of a gold stock "index" (actually the mutual fund USERX). His theory is that psychology drives the relative changes. It's really quite ingenious, and IMO it is one of the better predictors of trend changes gold stock action out there. The short-term predictions are less-reliable. I'd pay attention to what he has to say over the next 2 months, FWIW.
