Absolutely right, Rock. Effort is lacking. Just a smidgen more would solve the whole problem, but our leaders just don't try hard enough. What we need is social interaction. Maybe we could get Sharon to take Arafat golfing, Bush could coax Hussein to join him at the titty bar, and Rumsfeld could snort some coke with bin Laden. Better yet, maybe just invite them all to this year's "Renaissance Weekend" at Hilton Head, where deep thinking is combined with all such activities.

Your innovative idea ("more effort") will be seen as the break-through and a Nobel prize is in your future.
