Please name which weapon system Saddam purchased from the United States. Does he have any M1 tanks? Does he have any Bradley fighting vehicles? Does he have any F-16 or F-15 fighters? Does his troops have M-16s?

Yes, once Saddam is gone, there is no reason for American troops to stay in Saudi Arabia.

If people (including you) have misperceptions, those misperceptions must be corrected. Giving them what they want is not the solution. Education is.

Bin Laden didn't say he wants us out of Saudi Arabia and then he'll leave us alone.

He said all non-Muslims must die.

What about that very complex (not) message do you fail to understand?

You also failed to mention that we "supported" bin Laden in Afghanistan against the Soviets. Then he turned on us.

Additionally, you failed to mention that our "support" (which can take many forms, and which you have not defined) for the entities that you mention was requested by them and was against outside regimes that were more aggressive and repressive at the time.

Take off those blinders.
