I'm not too interested in gaap earnings or earnings per share.


I thought it was appropriate to comment on earnings per share since you had mentioned that earnings had gone up ten fold.

Cash from ops and free cash flow from around 1996 to 2000 did go up ten fold and so did the stock price!

Both cash flow from operations and free cash flow were negative numbers for fiscal '96, '97 and '98, so your statement about either of them going up ten fold is incorrect. No matter how many times you multiply a negative number you can't get a positive number. Free cash flow was negative for fiscal '95 and '94 as well.
