I found the Klein piece to be a bit of a "Hagiography."

Of course it is. As was the Rice piece a few issues back. But there's good and bad hagiography and this one is quite good. Klein knows his politics, has an unknown number of very good contacts, and writes very well. I don't agree with his political position in the world, lock stock and barrel DLC. But he's usually worth a good read.

If you do a contrast between Edwards and Kerrey, Edwards strikes me as the lightweight in that comparison. Only has going for him the conventional analysis that the Dems will have to run someone from the South to win the presidency. And, when he knows the topic, he's a very good talker.
